VSIS Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher

The VSIS vertical shaft impact Crusher uses a material-lined rotating wheel.The raw materials continuously enter the rotating wheel and are accelerated to obtain a linear velocity exceeding 45m/s.Then the rotating wheel continuously discharges the materials into the crushing chamber.The high-speed material flow collides with the inner lining of the crushing chamber,resulting in a chain reaction of crushing and grinding,while also replenishing the lost material lining.


The second material flow(bypass spillage)is fed into the crushing chamber under the controlled flow rate and direction.This material flow can further increase the amount of materials being crushed in the crushing chamber.Without additional power input and without changing the particle size composition of the discharged materials,it can improve the output of the crusher and the energy utilization rate.Combined with the optimization of the diameter and speed of the rotating wheel and the shape of the crushing chamber,the power utilization is maximized to achieve the lowest operating cost(cost per ton).At the same time,adjusting the proportion of the central rotating wheel feed and the bypass feed can also be an effective means to control the fine material content of the crushed product.Coupled with the means to effectively control the crushing and grinding effects,the product can obtain the maximum or minimum amount of fine materials.


The crusher can not only crush stones but also shape the materials.


The feeding methods of the crusher are divided into two types:central feeding accompanied by waterfall feeding and all-central feeding.At the same time,due to different chamber shapes,the working methods can be divided into two types:"stone-on-stone"and"stone-on-iron".

Particle Size Control of Crushed Products


The crusher provides multiple controllable parameters that can affect the particle size of the final product.The following are several main parameters.Under normal circumstances,adjusting these parameters will affect the particle size grade of the final crushed product.


Rotating Wheel Speed


Increasing the rotating wheel speed will increase the kinetic energy of the particles and the degree of material crushing.However,the crushing effect of the crusher will decrease with the increase of the rotating wheel speed.


Bypass Spillage


Increasing the amount of bypass spillage can increase the output of the crusher,but the degree of material crushing will be reduced.


Increasing the amount of bypass spillage to a maximum of 20%of the maximum capacity of the crusher rotating wheel can achieve the best output and material crushing ratio of the crusher.If the amount of bypass spillage is increased by more than 20%,generally the material crushing ratio will be reduced,but the output of the crusher can be increased.


Material Characteristics


Parameters such as the distribution of the feed particle size and the moisture content of the material will all affect the output and particle size composition of the crushed product.
